Meanwhile, for collectors, professionals and art lovers, they provide valuable insight into the realities of a career in the arts, offering opportunities for networking and building connections with art and artists.

NOW INTRODUCING IV: FROM THE STUDIO TO THE GALLERY | 26 March 2024 | 7-9PM


The fourth edition of STUDIO WEST’s ‘NOW Introducing’ talk series, ‘From the Studio to the Gallery’ will be a panel discussion aiming to demystify the experience of working with commercial galleries for emerging artists. 


Bringing together industry leaders from London’s galleries, and drawing on their wealth of experience, the talk will address questions such as: What kind of artists are gallerists keen to exhibit? What mistakes can I avoid making when interacting with galleries? How do I build a strong and lasting industry network? How do galleries sell artists' work? Do I need to be represented by a gallery? How should I price my work? 

 

Hosted by Caroline Boseley, Founder of STUDIO WEST and Bella Bonner-Evans, the gallery’s Head of Sales, the panel will feature Cassie Beadle, Co-Director of Cob Gallery, Matt Carey-Williams, Founder of Matt Carey-Williams and former Senior Director at Victoria Miro, Nicola Shane, Director of Purdy Hicks Gallery and Hannah Watson, Director of TJ Boulting.
