On the occasion of our group exhibition The Blush Upon Her Cheek, STUDIO WEST presents an intimate afternoon of readings.
Through delicate, sumptuous and subtle pieces spanning sculpture and painting, The Blush Upon Her Cheek sees a trio of contemporary artists examining the problematics entrenched in the cultivation and appreciation of beauty: Leo Costelloe, Florence Reekie, and Ki Yoong.
On Saturday 3rd February, STUDIO WEST invites an exciting selection of authors - with practices spanning writing, publishing, sound art, and performance - to share new works in accompaniment to the exhibition. Readers Sam Moore, D Mortimer, Dasha Loyko and Lu Rose Cunningham will open up discourses explored throughout the show, utilising the spoken word as a means of knowledge sharing and reflection.
