ART PLUGGED FEATURES STUDIO WEST'S EXHIBITION, 'THE BLUSH UPON HER CHEEK'.
"The Blush Upon Her Cheek is a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring works by Leo Costelloe, Florence Reekie and Ki Yoong. The exhibition draws inspiration from the Windsor Beauties, a set of eleven portraits painted by Sir Peter Lely in the 1660s, which depict the ladies of King Charles II’s court. The three artists explore the problematic issues surrounding the cultivation and appreciation of beauty in contemporary society."
