In response to Karolina Albricht’s exhibition 16 Branches High, and in collaboration with Portobello Dance School, dancers Anna Daly and Stanley Young have choreographed and will perform two unique presentations in the gallery space on the evening of the Thursday 24 March 2022. Through movement Wright and Young will translate and react to Albricht’s organic shapes, bright colours and rough surfaces. The event will commence with drinks at 7pm.
This project furthers STUDIO WEST aim of working with local cultural and creative organisations, to develop an exciting and accessible programme alongside rolling exhibitions.
STUDIO WEST firmly stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and condemns Russia's unprovoked and unjustified invasion. We will be raising money for the British Red Cross' Humanitarian efforts during the ballet performance - we ask that all attendees consider donating £5. 100% of which will be donated to the charity.
