On the occasion of our group exhibition The Reality in Whytch you Create, STUDIO WEST will host an artist Q & A featuring Sholto Blissett, Lydia Makin, Alfie Rouy, Anna Woodward and Salomé Wu. Join us on Wednesday 4 February from 6.30pm to hear the artists in conversation with Hector Campbell.
 
ABOUT HECTOR CAMPBELL
Hector is an Art Historian, Writer and Curator based in South London. Recent curatorial projects include 'Pounding The Pavement' at Galeria Pelaires (Palma de Mallorca), solo exhibitions with Gianna T and Luisa Me at Oneroom Gallery (London) and 'First Light' and 'Old Friends, New Friends' at Collective Ending HQ (London).
 
Hector has written for galleries such as Saatchi Yates (London), De Brock (Antwerp), Tick-Tack (Antwerp), Galeria Pelaires (Palma de Mallorca), Lungley Gallery (London), Roman Road (London), imlabor (Tokyo) and YBL Creative House (Budapest). He has written for publications such as FAD Magazine, Elephant Magazine, Assemblage Magazine, Beast Magazine, Arrested Motion and Pure Filth. He currently writes a weekly email newsletter, The Shock of the Now, which includes Featured Exhibitions, Recommended Exhibitions & Artist Opportunities. 
 
Hector has been a guest-lectured or guest-tutored at Goldsmiths, Chelsea College of Art, Camberwell College of Art and Bristol University (his alma mater). He is currently a mentor on the Plop Residency and Good Eye Projects residency programmes. He is a also a founding member of Collective Ending HQ, a collectively run studio and gallery complex in Deptford, South East London.
